You are invited to join us on campus for our fourth annual
on Friday, November 1, 2013.
This arts-specific event is designed for prospective students with interest in pursuing the arts at Columbia College in one or more of the following areas of study:
Art History and Visual Arts
Drama and Theatre Arts
The Arts Invitational will give you a unique opportunity to learn about over a dozen conservatory-caliber majors and programs that Columbia offers undergraduates. Learn why some of the world’s most accomplished students choose to study the creative and performing arts at Columbia College, conveniently located in New York City, the arts capital of the world.
This afternoon includes:
- an overview of studying the arts at Columbia, including specific programs and opportunities in the arts, admissions requirements and our generous need-based financial aid program.
- a panel of current students highlighting the undergraduate experience at Columbia and our thriving arts community.
- a reception with current students giving you the opportunity to speak with undergraduate artists.
- an optional campus tour emphasizing the arts.
Check-in will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. outside of Low Rotunda, Low Library, with an optional campus tour departing at 2:30 p.m. The program will officially begin at 3:30 p.m. and will conclude around 7:00 p.m. More information about getting to campus, including a campus map, can be found on our Visitor Information page.
