Meet Our Students

Leave blank for all. Otherwise, the first selected term will be the default instead of "Any".

Matt W.

From the Lions Mouth:
“I have had internships in customer service, music marketing, and event planning and advertising. As I am interested in the music industry, I always wanted to dip my feet and test the waters of different areas I hadn’t previously thought of. These opportunities allowed me to gain diverse skills that will prepare me for future opportunities.”
My Extracurricular Activities:
My Columbia Day:
  • 10:10 a.m.

Go to my Language and the Brain class, where we are discussing the cognitive processes behind reading, writing, speaking and listening.

  • 1:10 p.m.

Attend Drugs and Behavior with Dr. Carl Hart. It’s a class that examined the cultural, historical, and biological impact of different drugs, and I’ve enjoyed having a different perspective on the field of psychology.

  • 5:00 p.m.

Attend a meeting of an international students group, where everyone is welcomed. It’s great to meet students from all over the world, and our conversations and interactions have been a large part of my “global” experience on campus.

  • 9:30 p.m.

Go to a jazz concert for my Salsa, Soca, and Reggae class with Chris Washburne, a class I am taking to fulfill the Global Core requirement. My assignment is to interview the band members for a paper, and it’s great to get to meet musicians who know our music faculty here.
