Meet Our Students

-
9:00 a.m.
Prepare for my show on WBAR, Barnard’s College Radio, later in the evening.
-
11:00 a.m.
Attend Making and Breaking Codes, led by Dorian Goldfield. Learning cryptology from one of the scholars who basically pioneered modern code is awesome.
-
2:40 p.m.
Discuss some of Tony Kushner’s (CC ’78) works in Contemporary American Drama.
-
4:00 p.m.
Head over to Health Services to serve as an Advocate for the Gay Health Advocacy Project. I meet students from all across Columbia as a peer counselor, where I do HIV counseling and testing. People really respond to talking to peer, rather than a doctor.
-
7:00 p.m.
Grab dinner with friends at Max Soha – I love their Penne Siciliana.
-
10:00 p.m.
Meet with my fellow RAs to discuss our monthly projects. RAs are a really tight-knit community and we always work together to get to know residents and help them adjust to life as a student.
