Admissions Office and Visitors Center Closed
In light of evolving information about COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) and out of an abundance of caution, Columbia Undergraduate Admissions and the Visitors Center will be closed effective Monday, March 16, 2020, until further notice. Questions about undergraduate admissions should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will do our best to respond in a timely fashion.
Neither office is able to receive visitors, and we have suspended upcoming spring events, including admitted student programming, campus tours and information sessions until further notice.
We are taking this temporary action to ensure the safety and well-being of our entire Columbia community and campus visitors. In the interim, we invite all interested students to explore our website, take advantage of our virtual tour, follow us on Instagram for updates, and explore the collection of videos on our YouTube channel. Additionally, we understand that daily activities in some communities have been curtailed, including the ability to participate in school, extracurricular activities, and other events and gatherings. We want to assure affected applicants that their safety and well-being is paramount, and these conditions will not negatively impact their applications to Columbia. Columbia Undergraduate Admissions reviews applications in a holistic and contextual manner, and extenuating circumstances are considered as part of this careful review.
