The Alternative Break Program (ABP) funds and supports students who aim to address community challenges around the world, across the country or in our own backyards! This program differs from more traditional community service or spring break service trips: the ABP invites students themselves — with help from faculty, administrators and fellow students — to develop their own civic engagement projects, rather than a more traditional model where an administrator organizes the program and students participate.
