Formerly known as Sister Circle prior to the Spring 2019 semester, Women of Color Collective (WOCC) was established in 2003 as a program that seeks to bring together self-identified Women of Color (including Arab/Middle Eastern, Asian/Pacific Islander, Black/African, Latinx, Native/Indigenous and Multiracial) to foster a sense of community and solidarity. We are open to the undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff of all Columbia University schools. Women of Color Collective has been instrumental in providing opportunities for self-identified women of color to connect with one another and examine personal, academic, professional and social challenges.
