EPC was created to encourage high-achieving rising high school seniors from low-income backgrounds to explore an engineering education at Columbia. EPC will be held from Sunday, October 12, to Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Please note that the program is designed for rising high school seniors who have exemplary academic records, particularly in math and science, and may have had less exposure to the fields of engineering and applied science.
The STARS Fly-In was created to encourage high-achieving rising high school seniors from rural and small town backgrounds to explore an undergraduate education in New York City at Columbia. The STARS Fly-In will be held from Saturday, October 18, to Monday, October 20, 2025. Please note the program is designed for rising high school seniors who have exemplary academic records and have primarily grown up in rural areas or small towns that are underserved in higher education.
Both fly-in programs feature similar opportunities, but some programming will differ as a result of the different program audiences. Students should only apply to one program. Visit the program pages for additional information about the event and application.
