As a result of COVID-19, Columbia Undergraduate Admissions Office and the Columbia University Visitors Center has suspended on-campus events through Fall 2020 for the safety and well-being of our entire Columbia community and campus visitors. We look forward to welcoming visitors back to campus once it is safe to do so.
Information about how our group visits operate can be found below. Please note that requests for group visits will not be reviewed until registration for campus visits is re-opened.
Reservations are required for groups larger than 10. Please submit a Group Visit Request Form at least three weeks prior to the date of your intended visit.
Submitting a request does not confirm your group visit; your group visit to campus is only confirmed after you have received an email approving your request. The subject line of this email will state: "Columbia University – Group Visit Confirmation." Group tours are only offered during the regularly scheduled information session and campus tour times. The Visitors Center can only accommodate a maximum of 40 students per group and does not sponsor group visits on weekends or during University holidays.
Group tours are only offered to prospective high school students in grades 9-12 who are interested in learning more about Columbia College and The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Our tours are offered only in English. Participants on campus tours must be familiar and comfortable with rapid idiomatic English.
