As a result of COVID-19, Columbia Undergraduate Admissions Office and the Columbia University Visitors Center has suspended on-campus events through Fall 2020 for the safety and well-being of our entire Columbia community and campus visitors. We look forward to welcoming visitors back to campus once it is safe to do so.
Once we are able to welcome visitors to campus, we will offer registration links to our information sessions on this page. In the meantime, we also encourage you to utilize our virtual tour to experience Columbia’s campus.
Information about how our information sessions are generally structured can be found below.
Information Sessions last one hour and are conducted by members of the Admissions Committee and Student Leaders. The sessions offer you the opportunity to learn more about the Columbia undergraduate experience – Columbia College, Columbia Engineering, the Core Curriculum, New York City, academic advising, research, internships, residential life, extracurricular activities, financial aid, requirements for admission, and other topics.
All information sessions begin in the Visitors Center, located in Room 213 of Low Memorial Library. Please visit the map of campus to help you navigate your visit. There are also PDF campus maps that can help guide you around campus. Reservations for information sessions and campus tours are required for all visitors, including groups over 10. If your plans have changed, you do not need to formally cancel your reservation. Please note, there are certain dates that will be closed once room capacity is reached. For those dates, drop-ins will not be permitted.
